PARENT-CHILD INSTRUCTOR AND SHIFT LEAD (This is NOT a Summer Position)
ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT?
We're looking for a mature, experienced professional who loves working with our youngest learners (babies and toddlers, 4 months-3 years) and can work weekday mornings plus one weekend mornings.

THE SCHEDULE:
THE SCHEDULE:
- 25–30 hours per week
- Morning shifts ONLY
- Shifts range from 3.5–5 hours
- Must be available to work all 6 days, Monday - Saturday mornings (required)
COMPENSATION:
$18-$25/hour (based on experience)
WHAT YOU'LL TEACH:
Parent-Child Classes for our youngest members:
- Babies (4-10 months): Sensory exploration, tummy time, bonding
- Crawlers (10-19 months): Movement circuits, early walking support
- Toddlers (20-36 months): Confidence building, beginning gymnastics skills
You'll guide parents and their little ones through movement, music, and play while building trust and community.
YOUR ROLE:
As a Parent-Child Instructor and Shift Lead, you will:
As a Parent-Child Instructor and Shift Lead, you will:
- Teach engaging parent-child classes for babies and toddlers
- Lead daily shift operations
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Answer phones and assist families with enrollment
- Sell memberships, classes, camps, and birthday parties
- Support daily business operations and end-of-shift procedures
- Build strong relationships with families and children
- Help create a warm, welcoming, and professional environment
WHO WE NEED:
Required:
- 3-5+ years working with young children (early childhood education, childcare, preschool, or parenting experience valued)
- Understanding of infant/toddler developmental milestones
- Weekend availability is essential
- Adult professional presence
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role (see below)
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (holding toddlers, moving equipment)
- Able to get down on the floor and stand up repeatedly throughout the day
- Able to demonstrate movement activities (jumping, running, climbing)
- Able to spot and support children during physical activities
- Able to remain active and engaged for entire shift (no sitting)
- Able to participate in all class activities alongside children
