2026-2027 Autism Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:             
1. Applicant must qualify, at time of hire, for State of Delaware Teacher of Students with Autism or Students with Severe Intellectual Disabilities certification (1573) required.
2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, preferably in education, with a major in special education with a concentration in autism or severe disabilities preferred.
3. Must be able to stand and work continuously for a minimum of four hours per work day.
4. Must be able to use arms and hands without restrictions to accommodate the physical, mobility, and ambulatory needs of students.
5. Applicant must demonstrate a level of knowledge and/or experience appropriate to the position.
6. Favorable criminal background and child protection registry check for the candidate offered employment required.
7. Tuberculin test required.
8. Participation in Direct Deposit required.
