Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential business opportunities through various channels such as market research, networking, and lead generation tools.
- Prospecting: Reach out to prospective clients via phone, email, and social media to introduce our products and services and generate interest.
- Qualification: Identify client pain points and propose comprehensive security solutions that may include access control systems, surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and related products and services.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and potential customers. Understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions by conducting site evaluations.
- Meeting Scheduling: Arrange meetings, demos, and calls between prospective clients and the sales team to further discuss their needs and our solutions.
- Market Insights: Stay up-to date on the latest access control and security technologies, products, and services to effectively communicate their benefits to clients. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product line.
- Sales Process: Create detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts for clients, outlining the scope of work, pricing, and terms and conditions
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging, strategy, and lead nurturing efforts.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions, pipeline status, and sales activities. Provide regular reports on sales forecasts and market feedback.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
- Possesses at least 3-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence prospects and client base.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and the ability to identify and qualify potential business opportunities.
- Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated resilience and the ability to handle rejection and setbacks constructively.
- Collaborative attitude and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar office productivity tools.
- Must be highly competitive, ramp quickly, extremely adaptive, and pride yourself on exceeding production goals
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- At least 6-10 years of experience in technology sales
- Previous experience in an Access and Control Systems
- Experience in telecom, MSP, security industry
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the ability to manage and track leads effectively.
