Job Description

Job Summary

The Spire Operations Liaison works under the direction of the Managing Director to prepare financial plans with other paraplanners, coordinates the workflow through the creation and maintenance of systems, and assists in the daily function and activities with financial professional offices.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a knowledge leader using financial planning expertise to construct quality financial plans.

  • Coordinate with Spire’s student paraplanners to continuously achieve an efficient flow of work by creating and reviewing data entry, analysis, and reporting processes for the completion of financial plans and improvements for service and deliverables.

  • Continually keep up with financial planning trends and strategies to identify relevant opportunities for financial professionals’ financial planning clients.

  • Work cross departmentally to service FPs and associates alike with Spire Outsourcing’s offerings.

  • Manage the documentation of processes and procedures as they relate to Spire Outsourcing’s Operations.

  • Professionally interact with financial professionals and their staff to gather necessary information for financial plans, move plans to completion, and present their plans to them collaboratively.

  • Assist with the promotion of Spire Outsourcing’s services with financial professionals.

  • Build, update, and assist with teaching standard procedures and a training program for Spire’s part-time student paraplanners.

  • Build and maintain relationships with CFP Board registered degree programs to assist in the recruitment of part-time student paraplanners for Spire Outsourcing and look for opportunities for these same students among Cambridge’s financial professional who are looking to hire paraplanners upon graduation.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and detail-oriented financial planning professional with four or more years of related experience, education, and/or training in financial planning or wealth management. This individual thrives in a team-based environment, partnering closely with paraplanners and advisors to prepare comprehensive, client-focused financial plans. A strong foundation in financial planning principles, analytical thinking, and organizational skills is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency. Experience with eMoney planning software is highly valued, and additional industry licenses such as a life insurance license or FINRA Series registrations are considered a plus. The successful candidate demonstrates professionalism, initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support and service.

Certifications:

Preference is given to candidates who have graduated from a CFP Board registered program and who are either a CFP® certificate or actively pursuing the CFP® designation.
