Key Deliverables and Responsibilities
Cambridge Investment Research is seeking a driven and consultative Client Solutions Consultant to support and grow relationships with existing Cambridge Financial Advisors. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a relationship-focused environment and enjoys helping advisors deliver comprehensive financial solutions to their clients.
As a Client Solutions Consultant, you will act as a trusted partner—proactively identifying opportunities and recommending tailored solutions across financial planning, retirement products, and Cambridge Source offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Cambridge Financial Advisors to support their business growth
Proactively identify client needs and recommend solutions across:
Financial planning strategies
Retirement solutions
Cambridge Source offerings
Drive adoption and utilization of Cambridge products and platforms
Conduct consultative outreach (phone, virtual, and in-person) to educate advisors on available solutions
Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a seamless advisor experience
Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory considerations
Travel up to 25% to meet with advisors and attend events as needed
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience in sales, relationship management, or financial services consulting
Strong knowledge of financial planning and retirement products
Demonstrated ability to influence and consult with clients in a sales-driven environment
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
FINRA licenses (e.g., Series 7, 63/65 or 66) preferred or willingness to obtain within first year of employment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Location: Phoenix, AZ or Fairfield, IA – Hybrid in-office 3 days/week
Salary Range: $75-85,000/year + bonus
