Job Description
Join the fun, fast-paced hospitality team at Destination Geneva National as a Shuttle Coordinator/Common Area Support, a role responsible for providing safe and timely guest and staff transportation and guest-facing support while helping maintain a welcoming and safe resort environment.
This role primarily functions as a Shuttle Driver and Guest Services, while also serving as a Lobby Ambassador during peak arrival and departure periods. During shoulder and off-season periods, this position assists with maintenance tasks, seasonal snow removal, common area support, and other projects that sustain overall property operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Guest Service & Lobby Ambassador Support
Greeting guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression.
Provide directions, resort information, and assistance with guest inquiries.
Function as a Lobby Ambassador during peak arrival periods (approximately 6–10 hours weekly) by greeting guests and supporting lobby flow.
Maintain a professional, polished, and guest-focused presence.
Shuttle Operations & Transportation
Safely transport guests, members, and associates to designated destinations.
Operate shuttle vehicles in accordance with company safety standards and traffic laws.
Assist passengers with boarding, luggage, golf bags, and personal belongings.
Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
Ensure shuttle vehicles remain clean, fueled, and guest ready.
Guest Assistance
Assist guests with luggage, golf bags, packages, and deliveries.
Provide way-finding assistance and support guest requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest arrival areas and entrances.
Common Area & Seasonal Property Support
Assist with common area upkeep and guest-facing presentation standards.
Provide maintenance and operational support, primarily during off-season and lower occupancy periods.
Assist with seasonal exterior upkeep, including snow and ice mitigation during winter months, to maintain safe guest and associate access points.
Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or guest-impacting deficiencies promptly.
Teamwork & Operational Support
Work collaboratively with Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, Golf, and Food & Beverage teams.
Provide operational support during peak business periods and staffing needs.
Maintain professionalism and uphold Destination Geneva National service standards.
Supportive Functions
Assist in the daily maintenance of room inventory to achieve optimal levels or revenue while maintaining high levels of guest expectations.
Perform other projects as requested while maintaining normal job priorities.
Preparing reports and analyzing data to assist management with meeting preparation and goal setting.
Attend necessary weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
Working with other departments within the resort, which could include assisting in Housekeeping, F&B, Golf, or Banquets.

Fast-paced resort and lodging environment requiring frequent movement between buildings and departments.
Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and prolonged driving.
Requires interaction with guests, associates, and leadership teams.

Licenses & Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
Must have maintained a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three (3) years.
Must meet company insurance eligibility requirements.
Ability to safely operate passenger shuttle vehicles.
