Here is your opportunity to join the area’s premier fine dining team as a member of our professional front-of-house leadership staff. The Maître d' serves as the face of the restaurant, creating exceptional first impressions while ensuring seamless guest flow, elevated hospitality, and an unforgettable dining experience from arrival to departure. This position is ideal for a polished hospitality professional who thrives in an upscale dining environment and enjoys building meaningful guest relationships.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and personalized hospitality
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and dining room flow to maximize guest experience and operational efficiency
Coordinate closely with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management throughout service
Maintain awareness of table status, pacing, wait times, and guest preferences
Escort guests to tables and present menus while setting the tone for exceptional service
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and discretion
Monitor dining room appearance, ambiance, and service standards throughout service
Assist in maintaining a polished, organized, and welcoming front entrance and host stand
Communicate VIP guest information, special occasions, and service notes to front-of-house staff
Support and assist servers during busy periods as needed
Help train and mentor host staff and support team members on hospitality standards
Ensure reservation systems, waitlists, and guest communications are accurate and organized
Assist with banquet events, golf outings, weddings, wine dinners, and special events as needed
Maintain knowledge of menus, wines, cocktails, and restaurant offerings
Uphold all company standards for guest service, appearance, professionalism, and teamwork
Help create a refined, memorable, and welcoming dining experience for all members and guests
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts
Stamina to work efficiently in a fast-paced fine dining environment
Ability to move throughout crowded dining rooms and entrance areas safely and professionally
Capacity to communicate clearly and effectively in a busy restaurant setting
Ability to maintain professionalism, composure, and attention to detail under pressure
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled
Physical ability to assist with light lifting, table adjustments, menus, and guest accommodations as needed
Professional appearance and polished presentation consistent with upscale dining standards
