About the role:
We are seeking a graduate engineer to support compliance homologation and whitelisting activities, while acting as the custodian of homologation documentation. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical, regulatory, and documentation expertise within a fast-paced, global environment.
 
What you will be doing:
  • Homologation & Compliance Support
    • Support homologation and product whitelisting activities across global markets
    • Liaise with regulators, product approval and whitelisting agencies
    • Track products approval progress and provide accurate status updates
  • Data & Document Management
    • Maintain product approval documents and ensure accurate capture of metadata
    • Organize and manage compliance documentation repositories (SharePoint, Jira)
    • Gain familiarity with Enphase products through datasheets, installation guides, test reports, and schematics
    • Document evidence of compliance with standards and grid code requirements
    • Maintain and update structured records of product approval requirements for each region 
  • Confidentiality & Governance
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
    • Assist in identifying Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) requirements and coordinate with legal counsel
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with compliance engineers and cross-functional teams including program management, product line management, and legal
    • Interface with external regulators, product approval and whitelisting agencies
    • Respond to regulator queries by identifying and referencing relevant compliance evidence
 
What you bring:
  • BE in Electrical / Electronics or a relevant field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and systematic approach to work
  • Understanding of document management principles and metadata
  • High level of integrity and accountability
  • Ability to work independently while proactively engaging stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Jira, JAMA

Visa requirements:
We will NOT be reviewing any international candidates. Applicants MUST hold a current New Zealand Work Visa (or similar) or be eligible to work in New Zealand as sponsorship is not available. Applicants may be eligible for relocation withing NZ.
