This position works in a distribution environment with a focus on order picking, order loading, and items put away.
- Unload and put away inbound receipts and transfers.
- Pull, stage, and load outbound orders.
- Pull and load outbound transfers to the production site.
- Checks and corrects outbound and inbound paperwork for accuracy.
- Use of the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Perform trailer inspections.
- Recoup damage when necessary.
- Manage floor plans for finished goods and raw materials to be most efficient.
- Perform job functions in line with the SQF code.
- Assist in housekeeping activities at the Distribution Center.
- Attend pieces of training provided and suggested.
- Engage in special projects with DC Management.
- Communicate stop-call-wait situations, failures, and anything requiring management approval to DC Management.
- Assist in equipment maintenance with maintenance techs to properly identify and resolve issues.
