Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Pay: $75,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience
Territory: Houston and surrounding markets
Work Location: Field-Based
Position Overview
M Chest Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven sales professional to support business growth throughout the Houston territory. This position is responsible for identifying prospective customers, building meaningful business relationships, and promoting M Chest Pharmacy's long-term care pharmacy services to healthcare organizations throughout the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while managing a dynamic travel schedule. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, effective relationship-building abilities, and a passion for delivering solutions that support quality patient care. This opportunity is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys developing new business relationships and contributing to the continued growth of a successful organization.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective long-term care customers throughout the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct outreach efforts and maintain consistent follow-up with prospective customers.
- Present M Chest Pharmacy's services and solutions to healthcare organizations and decision-makers.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase market awareness and generate leads.
- Conduct educational in-services and training sessions related to pharmacy services, software platforms, and industry initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a positive customer experience during the sales and implementation process.
- Manage territory activities, customer meetings, and travel schedules effectively.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with facility administrators, nursing leadership, and other healthcare professionals.
- Achieve territory sales goals while supporting the continued growth of M Chest Pharmacy.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of Long-Term Care Pharmacy sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional business relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in prospecting, territory management, and business development activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, or other long-term care providers.
- Familiarity with pharmacy services and long-term care healthcare operations.
- Experience conducting presentations, training sessions, or educational programs for healthcare professionals.
- Experience utilizing Zoho CRM to manage leads, sales activities, customer interactions, and territory pipeline development.
Travel Expectations
- Extensive travel throughout Texas is required.
- Regular overnight travel should be expected.
- Typical travel schedules include Monday through Thursday travel with overnight hotel stays.
- A company vehicle is provided for business-related travel.
- A WEX fuel card is provided for fuel purchases related to business travel.
- A company-issued credit card is provided for approved business-related expenses.
