What will you do?
We are seeking skilled and hands-on experience in “Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing”. Experience in Identifying, assessing, and validating security vulnerabilities across “Web application, API, mobile application, networks, cloud environments and operating systems. The candidate will perform security assessments, penetration testing and provide remediation guidance.
This role will play a critical part of performing VA / PT assessments across the cloud infrastructure and business critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), security assessment on “Web & Mobile Applications, API, Network, Cloud Infrastructure”
- Perform manual and automated security testing
- Validate vulnerabilities and analyze vulnerabilities and business impact
- Execute security assessments aligned with various industry standards such as “OWASP, MITTRE ATT&CK, API Security Standards”
- Prepare detailed technical and executive reports
- Work closely with cross functional teams to support remediation activities
- Conduct security reviews and configuration assessments
- Support Red Team, Purple Team operation activities when required
- Hands-on experience in security assessment tools “Burp Suite (Pro), Acunetix, Nmap, Nessus, Qualysguard, Kali Linux”
- Good understanding of “Attack vectors, Authentication & Authorization techniques, Encryption standards, Cloud security components”
- Familiar with scripting languages “Python, Shell Scripting”
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in manual and automated Vulnerability Assessment or Penetration Testing engagements
- Understanding of various security & compliance standards (ISO 27001, OWASP, NIST, GDPR)
- Experience in performing VAPT in Cloud infrastructure, Applications, API environments
- Strong knowledge of security assessment tools
- Knowledge of various offensive security models (Red Team, BAS)
- Any security or tool certification is plus
