Job Description
Position Summary:
The Senior Business Services Advisor will be a member of the Business Advisory leadership team working closely with the Partner of the division and the client accounting team to provide high level advisory services to our clients and mentoring the team. Specifically, this will include managing multiple high-level client engagements across multiple divisions within the firm while aiding in developing the technical expertise of the entire team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Planning: Formulation of the strategic direction of the business and the tactical plans, budgeting systems, and performance metrics (KPI’s). Includes the financial analysis of potential acquisitions, as well as due diligence.
- Financial Information: Design meaningful financial reports and present reports to various internal and external parties.
- Risk Management: Understand the current and potential risks to the business and develop plans to mitigate these risks; this includes internal and external risks.
- Financing: Monitor cash needs, investment options, and term financing
- Exit Strategies: Work with ownership in privately held companies to manage the transition of the owners from the company.
- External Relationships: Develops relationships with external professional advisors such as bankers, attorneys, insurance professionals, CPAs, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 10+ years’ work experience, preferably some experience in both public accounting and industry
- CPA preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated technical abilities in select areas (accounting, regulatory, compliance, etc.)
- Good analytical, interpersonal, time management, research, and communications skills
- Must be able to effectively work with new and changing situations, including changing professional standards where there may not always be a readily apparent solution

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Compensation Range:
$150,000 - $200,000
