QA Engineer

Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer you are guided by testing principles and values. You will play a key role in the testing and quality assurance of a highly innovative product that plays an important role within the current overall business strategy of Infor. You own, advocate and guard all aspects of QA in collaboration with software engineers, business analysts, architects, product managers, development managers.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Be a product expert, improving your knowledge through continuous learning and by working in close collaboration with cross functional teams and colleagues.
- Meet with developers/product managers understand the product requirement, communicate defects to development teams.
- Discuss testing strategies with fellow QA members.
- Create and review test cases for the product releases.
- Create automation scripts when test cases are ready.
- Communicate QA findings/defects using Jira system.
- Manage QA artefacts using source control system.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in test planning, designing, execution, defect tracking and test case creation/execution.
- Experience in automation test script creation.
- Experience of QA methodology and tools.
- Experience with Enterprise, SaaS / cloud software development, having experience of working with AWS cloud technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with our tech stack: Java, Selenium, Gherkin.
- Experience with our tools: Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Git.
- Experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Performance, Load, and Stress testing experience
- PostgreSQL experience (or similar RDBMS).
