Payoffs Clerk Title Insurance - Glendale, CA

Job Responsibilities: 

• Be responsive to all customer inquires in a professional and proactive manner. 
• Building effective internal and external relationships with Escrow, Title, and Sales through the delivery of truly remarkable service.
• Handle issues/problems arising from the payoff file. Ensure the accuracy of all payoff figures. 
• Accurately take instructions from the title unit to verify all demands with lenders. 
• Timely follow up with the title unit to assure that all monies have been received from escrow for any shortages due to the company within 24 to 48 hours. 
• Operate office equipment (I.e. copier, scanner, fax machine, e- mail). 
• Process the payoff file so that it is disbursed in a timely manner based on the customer’s requirements. 
•  Post all incoming wires to and follow up on all unclaimed wires.
• Keep track of all holds, shortages and updated demands to follow files.

Job Requirements: 

• Must be able to collect and analyze information in order to find creative solutions for solving problems. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Must be able to adhere to appropriate company policies and procedures. 
• Must be able to identify internal and external customer requirements and expectations. 
• Must possess excellent follow up skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

• PC skills preferred. 

   

• Payoff experience in the Title industry preferred. Bookkeeping/Accounting, work experience Title/Banking industry required.
