Location: Camp Humphreys, Korea
Position: Part-time
Duties:
- Lead musical accompaniment for the Common Ground Protestant Worship Services, including weekly Sunday services, special services, and rehearsals.
- Conduct and lead the choir, praise team, and congregation in worship through both vocal and instrumental music (e.g., guitar or keyboard).
- Organize and conduct weekly rehearsals with the band and praise team.
- Select and coordinate music for services, including warm-ups, preludes, postludes, offertories, and congregational hymns.
- Ensure proper use and care of chapel facilities and equipment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of four years of formal education or training as an Undergraduate Music Director Performance Major.
- At least three years of relevant experience in directing choirs and leading worship services within the last ten years.
- Ability to lead an orchestra, praise team, and congregation both vocally and instrumentally.
- Proficient in English (spoken, read, and written).
- Professional and well-groomed appearance during services.
