Position Overview: The PAES Assessment Evaluator provides 10-day vocational assessments for students with disabilities (ages 14�22) across Chester County. Using the PAES system, the evaluator collects data, reports on employment readiness, and supports students as the first step toward community-based work experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage referrals and create yearly assessment schedules.
• Operate PAES labs at TCHS Pickering (Phoenixville) and Chester County Learning Center (Coatesville).
• Coordinate assessment transportation with IU and school districts; complete required forms.
• Conduct PAES assessments for 2�4 students per cycle; provide accommodations as needed.
• Collect data, score assessments, and produce three reports per student.
• Share reports with teachers, families, and vocational teams; upload to SharePoint.
• Attend IEP meetings upon request; communicate outcomes with parents and agencies.
• Model workplace behaviors and support students with soft skills, problem solving, teamwork, and independence.
• Review IEPs, behavior plans, and health needs; communicate with school nurses and building administrators.
• Maintain two PAES lab sites and mentor job trainers or student workers as needed.
• Assist with completing all vocational assessments as needed.
• Support Career Readiness instruction as needed, including maintaining the Career Readiness Tiers.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor of Community-Based Instruction & Adult Services

Qualifications
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum two years of job trainer experience required.
• PAES lab training and scoring experience required.
• Demonstrated experience with data collection and documentation.
• Experience working with students with disabilities required.
• Willingness to work at two Chester County locations required.
• Valid MVR and current background clearances (PA Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI).
