Job Description
- Perform tests for green-sand molding, core-making, and no-bake molding processes and correctly interpret results.
- Perform chemical analysis of metal samples using an optical emission spectrometer.
- Maintain organized records for sand system data and metal analysis data.
- Audit molding and pouring processes and finished castings.
- Perform any special testing or analysis as needed.
- Perform other tasks as required by supervision.
- Minimum of three years of experience in metal and sand analysis preferred.
- Must have a two-year technical certificate or degree in a related field.
