Job Description

ASRC Federal is looking for a Video Teleconferencing Technician responsible for supporting the organization's video conferencing, IT support and asset management needs. Key Responsibilities: · Support video teleconferencing (VTC) systems utilizing Cisco codecs and other various audio/video equipment to join online meetings using Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, ZoomGov and other virtual platforms. · Provide the required administrative and technical resources for VTC systems, support for the federal travel reimbursement application, and oversight of the federal asset management database. · Evaluate existing and new technologies and solutions based on business requirements. · Perform project management to plan, organize, and control resources to achieve project goals. · Provide administrative support for the customer's Travel System, including account creations/deletions, resetting passwords, assisting with travel vouchers and authorizations, travel approver lists, accounting codes, and general customer support. · Modify, control, and keep current the customer's Outlook Distribution Lists. · Provide administrative support and assistance in setting up online conferences using Teams, WebEx, ZoomGov or equivalent and establishing meeting connections in the conference rooms. · Assist with operations, documentation, and maintenance support for video conference facilities in two geographic areas. · Oversee and control the schedule of all organizational conference rooms in both facilities, maintain video conference statistics, and make recommendations for improving usability. · Provide in-person support for high-profile video conferences. · Assist with custom VTC room support, configuration upgrades, installation, operation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance. · Provide general computer hardware support for users laptops, desktops, iPhones, iPads, and other various devices. · Provide general computer software support for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Apple iOS, Adobe products, and other various applications. · Conduct an annual inventory of all VTC rooms and support touchpad-controlled, complex VTC rooms with multi displays. · Track the location and movement of all hardware using the Sunflower asset tracking database as well as the ServiceNow helpdesk ticket tracking database. · Store hardware properly, prepare inventory exit packages, distribute hardware as directed, track hardware movement, and remove obsolete hardware from inventory. · Verify that inventory records are complete and accurate, excess inventory as directed and assist in conducting bi-annual physical inventory. · Analyze and research asset discrepancies found in the annual inventory and reconcile/document discrepancies. · Provide a weekly report of accomplishments, activities, issues, and recommendations. · Provide a Monthly Mobile Device Report Analysis, including zero usage, transfers, and departing employees. · Assist with setting up and facilitating widescale events in the large conference rooms or auditoriums. · Provide in-meeting troubleshooting and problem-solving support. · Communicate concerns and solutions through the internal team. · Handle and protect confidential information. Qualifications: · Excellent communication skills and prior experience providing in-person customer service to high level personnel and politically appointed federal employees. · Possesses and applies expertise across key tasks and high-impact assignments. · Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. · High School, 5 years of experience in a related field or equivalent. · Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust.
