Manager of Manufacturing Engineering Our Manager of Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for leading and directing the Manufacturing Engineering team of Ranch Hand products, as well as, working within the Kaizen Program through leadership, interaction, and support of functional leaders within the business
They also ensure increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials, and machines
Promoting a high level of cooperation with design engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and marketing to ensure Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles are practiced, new products are launched on-time, and manufacturing costs are controlled Coordinating with Engineering and Operations on production processes and new product launches Ensuring manufacturing standards are maintained and aligned to shop floor operational levels Reviewing and aligning all manufacturing equipment to all local, state and federal safety standards Developing new processes and standards for new product introductions, acquisition integrations and product re-alignments within the Ranch Hand facility Refining, maintaining, and implementing the manufacturing vision to align with corporate objectives Creation, oversight, and implementation of annual CapEx plans Evaluating new technical developments and investments that will advance company objectives Effectively manage projects and delegate
Facilitate and coordinate project activities to minimize project timelines Promoting a positive development culture including: innovation, improvement, professional growth, teamwork, manufacturing excellence, and ownership Oversight of Manufacturing Engineering budget Validation of new equipment and fixtures for production implementation
: Work Experience: 5 years of experience as a manager or supervisor, within manufacturing engineering management Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Solidworks or other 3D modeling software Organization Skills: Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work and handle multiple job assignments; high level of process management and improvement Cross-functional skills: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments; ability to work with and communicate with other departments including Tooling, QA, Engineering and Manufacturing Communication Skills: Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information; ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; strong interpersonal skills Preferred Education and Experience: Work Experience: 8 years of relevant manufacturing managerial experience CNC fabrication, welding or powder coat manufacturing experience Automotive OEM supplier or aftermarket experience Travel: Travel will be 20% of the role
