Job Title: Research Assistant (TEMPORARY) - Grant Jensen Lab

Job Closing Date: June 7, 2026

Job Start Date: June 22, 2026

Be part of groundbreaking research that combines artificial intelligence and structural biology. Join our team as we investigate how synthetic data can improve AI models and accelerate discoveries through cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET).

Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related area

Job Qualifications:

  • Familiarity of cryoET
  • Experience with synthetic cryoET data
  • Experience comparing phantom data and synthetic cryo-ET data
     

Job Duties/Expectations:

  • Comparative AI Analysis and Benchmarking
  • CryoET data annotation
  • Computational Data Processing and Analysis
  • Research Collaboration and Reporting

Pay Grade: 46

Typical Starting Pay: $16.50-$21.25

The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
