Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, analyse, and deliver monthly financial and management reports for group and regulatory purposes.
- Coordinate the annual budget and intra-year forecast processes of the portfolio companies, ensuring timely submission, streamlined data aggregation and insightful analysis.
- Drive process automation by designing and implementing workflows that reduce manual tasks, improve data accuracy, and speed up consolidation/reporting cycles.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using ERP platforms (e.g. Cognos, Tagetik), BI solutions (PowerBI),
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities within and beyond finance, promoting digital transformation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for advanced Excel models, ERP/BI systems (Cognos, Tagetik), and automation best practices.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and support scenario modelling for decision-makers.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and local regulatory reporting requirements.
- Occasional travel for work related meetings and events.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Finance, Business Informatics, or similar discipline.
- 5-8 years’ experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Financial Reporting with demonstrable automation project involvement.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/reporting systems such as Cognos and Tagetik.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel is an essential prerequisite.
- Proficiency in automation tools and programming (Python, VBA, SQL, or RPA platforms) would be a plus.
- Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Strong cross-functional and process-oriented mindset; proven ability to drive digital change and overcome resistance.
- Structured, analytic, and autonomous working style.
- Fluent in English; German or other European language is a plus.
