Position Overview:
The Gym Manager is a key leadership role responsible for delivering an exceptional experience for children, families, and staff at The Little Gym of Anderson. This role combines hands-on teaching of gymnastics and movement-based classes with operational and leadership responsibilities. The Gym Manager ensures program quality, strong team culture, and smooth day-to-day gym operations while upholding The Little Gym’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enthusiastically teach GREAT classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method.
- Oversee day-to-day gym operations, ensuring smooth class flow, safe use of gymnastics equipment, and an outstanding customer experience.
- Train, mentor, and support instructors through ongoing coaching and professional development, reinforcing consistent gymnastics instruction and positive teaching practices.
- Maintain a strong team culture rooted in positivity, communication, and shared passion for early childhood development and gymnastics.
- Assist in leading team meetings to align staff on goals, expectations, and program updates.
- Manage gym-specific communications, including parent messaging and general manager communications.
- Collaborate with leadership through weekly meetings with owners, directors, and other Gym Managers.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including TLGI webinars and discussions with Regional Program and Gym Directors.
- Support program quality and growth by updating schedules, uploading monthly curriculum music, and providing feedback on curriculum effectiveness within the gym.
- Must love working with children and enjoy being active, playful, and hands-on.
- Experience in teaching, physical education, early childhood development, coaching or gymnastics is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Up to 40 hours per week.
- Includes Saturdays and at least 2 weekday evening shifts. Exact work schedule will be based on class schedules, events, and operational needs.

$42,000.00 per year plus bonuses of up to an additional $4,000 per year.
