Responsibilities
- Showcase your culinary finesse on the grill, cooking burgers and other menu items to perfection.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders, maintaining our commitment to quality and presentation.
- Keep your work station clean, organized, and stocked with fresh ingredients to deliver consistently excellent dishes.
- Embrace the excitement of a fast-paced kitchen, contributing to a positive and energetic atmosphere.
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a safe dining experience for our guests.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months experience as a grill cook
- Able to follow recipes and instructions, including making conversions
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and proper handling procedures
- Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Ability to communicate clearly in a noisy kitchen environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Able to read documents and written instructions to understand sanitation requirements, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus.
- Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays.
- Stand for extended periods of time and navigate occasional wet or greasy floor conditions.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (food product cases, bulk ingredients, kitchen equipment).
- Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment.
- Bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely.
