Job Purpose

The Dealer Recognition & Events Project Analyst provides tactical direction, operational governance, and oversight for all dealer-facing recognition, engagement, and event programs within the Auto Sales Division. This role ensures that events and initiatives directly support Honda and Acura retail performance, enhance dealer engagement, and align with AHM’s overall Auto Sales strategic objectives.

The Project Analys is responsible for leading cross-functional collaboration, ensuring consistent application of Honda processes and standards, and providing guidance on program design, resource planning, and operational execution.

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Program Coordination: Manage grassroots events for the field. This includes determining daily priorities for information distribution to dealers and using Cvent technology to source events.

Enterprise Governance & Process Excellence: KPI tracking from surveys, including use of Adobe Analytics to provide analysis on dealers’ view and use of content.

Cross‑Functional Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement: Write copy to communicate new programs to dealers, provide project updates and create understanding and alignment between dealers and company.

Insights, Reporting & Decision Support: Develop, approve, deploy surveys in company Qualtrics tool, including determining what information is pertinent to the Unit’s function and making the surveys more robust to gather new information.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Innovation: Create proposals for dealer events and manage associated projects.

Financial Stewardship & Resource Management

Coordinate cross‑functional partnership and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications BS/BA degree in Communications, Marketing, related field or equivalent work experience

Minimum Experience 4+ years’ experience in an event or marketing role § Strong writing and proofreading skills Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Strong analytical skills Process oriented

Other Job-Specific Skills

Basic understanding of the automobile industry and the dealer/OEM relationship

Working Conditions

Associates holding this position are in Torrance.

20% travel is required.
