Scope

Support the Plant Manager in achieving efficiency and quality goals related to industrial operations, in alignment with company policies and performance standards. Promote and uphold Sofidel’s Employee Personal Practice Policy.

Essential Functions

• Ensure production, quality, and cost targets are achieved in full compliance with:

  • Safety and environmental policies

  • ISO 9001 Quality System

• Provide technical support in relationships with stakeholders

• Assist the Regional Operations Manager with budget proposals related to production and maintenance costs

• Coordinate cross-functional departments to maximize productivity, efficiency, and customer service

• Monitor and manage production and maintenance costs

• Ensure proper management and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities

• Optimize energy consumption and raw material usage

• Review and validate production reports

• Collaborate with CTO personnel to drive continuous improvement in:

  • Production efficiency

  • Cost reduction

  • Energy and raw material usage

  • Environmental impact

• Manage relationships with plant union representatives in accordance with company policies

• Support the development of technical personnel for future Plant Manager roles

• Promote a strong safety culture

• Uphold corporate principles and values

Additional Duties

• Assist with operations as needed to maintain workflow, schedules, and quality standards

• Report equipment issues, operational problems, or material shortages to supervision

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with safety and quality standards

• Participate in meetings and cross-functional teams to communicate issues, resolve problems, and stay current on policies and regulations

• Perform other related duties as assigned
