Head of People & Organizational Development
I’m Maria Romberg Ewerth, Chief People Officer at Telia Company, and I’m looking for a People & Organizational Development professional to help strengthen how we work with leadership, culture, and talent processes across our organization. In this newly shaped role, you will combine hands-on delivery with a solid understanding of people and organizational practices. You will play a central role in shaping a high-performing, adaptive, and purpose-driven organization by driving key initiatives across leadership development, talent processes and culture—strengthening leadership, evolving ways of working, and building future-ready capabilities across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help translate business needs into practical people solutions that support workforce agility, capability building, and long-term growth.
The position is located in Solna, Sweden.
What you’ll do
You will lead our People & Organizational Development agenda, ensuring we have the right capabilities, leadership, and culture in place to deliver on our strategy.
Drive people and organizational development initiatives that enable performance, engagement, and long-term growth
Shape leadership and talent practices—from leadership development to career frameworks and capability building
Lead transformation and change initiatives, supporting the organization to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strengthen our culture and ways of working, ensuring alignment with our values and strategic direction, ensuring strong execution and adoption
Develop and lead a team of experts, creating a collaborative and high-performing environment
Partner closely with senior leaders, translating business needs into impactful people solutions
Participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring structure, progress, and follow-through
What will help you thrive in this role
Solid experience in People & Organizational Development and Leadership Development
Hands-on experience supporting organizational change and transformation initiatives
Strong execution skills and ability to turn plans into tangible outcomes
Good understanding of leadership, culture, and organizational practices
Ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across the organization
People leadership experience, including leading experts
University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent
Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
