This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of the NSW Office Leasing team and provide support in daily operations of the leasing business. You will be required to: 

  • Effectively manage data and systems for the leasing department. 
  • Maintain and take responsibility for the leasing market database. 
  • Liaise with the broader industry (agents, tenants and their advisers) to ensure accurate record keeping.  
  • Proactively lead and assist in interpreting the data and preparation of market presentations and materials for the office leasing team.  
  • Assist the established leasing business in daily operations. 
  • Cross-check and verify system data on a regular basis; 
  • Maintain and upload internet listings.  
  • Work with the JLL Research team and internal stakeholders to innovate our leasing materials and presentations. 
  • Support the leasing team with marketing campaign management and processes. 
  • Manage and support the JLL Centre of Excellence (CoE) located in India, providing them market information and intelligence to ensure a high level of accuracy 
  • Upskill CoE colleagues ensuring data accuracy across all MarketLink functions 
  • Financial analysis accuracy – achieve a greater than 95% level of accuracy when providing financial modelling assistance (measured by the number of versions requiring material corrections after an initial review by a Director) 
  • Market report generation – Author and assist with quarterly Research market report for the relevant NSW office markets, with each report to identify at least 1 new trend, item or opportunity to report on 
  • Broker support – maintain a better than 24 hour turnaround time for ad-hoc data requests from brokers in the market. Larger, more complex requests turnaround times are to be provided at the time of request 
  • Data integrity and platform proficiency – Ensure MarketLink accuracy increases across the duration of employment in the Analyst position, including the management and review of Data CoE tasks, support and implementation 
  • Lease abstraction & summarisation – successfully abstract and summarise critical financial terms for leases as requested by brokers, providing support and assistance in expiry profiling and deal analysis 

Key Skills

  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail 

  • Planning & organisation and process management 

  • Strong time management skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and to tight deadlines 

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel 

  • Ability to work in a team environment but also be a strong self-starter and have initiative to take on tasks without direction 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Problem Solving/decision making 

  • Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders 

  • Promote open, constructive and collaborative relations with colleagues, clients and the wider business community 

  • Ability to maintain and manage accurate data. 

Employee experience & qualifications 

  • Tertiary education (Commerce, Finance or Real Estate background preferred)  

  • Work experience in a corporate environment desirable 

  • Familiarity with real estate terminology and knowledge
