Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A, SCF Support, located in Zug, Switzerland. 

Job Overview 

This role plays a critical part in supporting Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities for the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) organization. The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide financial insight, forecasting, and decision support that enable operational leaders to manage performance, improve cost efficiency, and support business growth. This is an opportunity to partner closely with supply chain leaders, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to the financial strength of DePuy Synthes. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for assigned supply chain functions, including monthly and quarterly outlooks. 

  • Analyze manufacturing, logistics, and inventory cost drivers to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions. 

  • Prepare and deliver financial reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for senior stakeholders. 

  • Partner with supply chain, operations, and finance teams to support cost management, productivity initiatives, and capital investment decisions. 

  • Support month‑end close activities, ensuring accurate financial results in compliance with internal controls and finance policies. 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing financial models, forecasting accuracy, and reporting processes. 

  • Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. 

 

Qualifications 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (required). 

  • Master’s degree or MBA (preferred). 

Experience and Skills 

Required: 

  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, or supply chain finance within a complex organization. 

  • Experience partnering with operational or supply chain stakeholders. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools. 

  • Solid understanding of financial controls, budgeting processes, and variance analysis. 

Preferred: 

  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. 

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain operations. 

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and financial planning tools. 

  • Prior experience in a global or matrixed organization. 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision‑making through data‑driven insights. 

Other: 

  • Language: Proficiency in English required; German preferred. 

  • Travel: Up to 10% (primarily regional). 

  • Certifications: CPA, CMA, or equivalent (preferred).
