
Production Operator- ISO Liner 1st Shift
Job Description
Position Summary:
Load molds for 1” to 12” TFE pipe liner, run molding cycles, unload green strength liner, mark identification and transfer to sintering oven trees.
Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to):
- Manually scoop powder from barrels.
- Manually transfer powder into mold fill chambers until mold cavity is full, cap and run cycle.
- Retract green molded liner from mold cavity with hoist.
- Inspect liner (TQC) and mark with lot identification and record on QC report.
- Transfer liner to trays and place on sintering oven trees.
- Maintain operating parameters on control panel.
- Perform material handling functions using hand trucks and carts.
- Report production and labor on VDT and work order traveller.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Monitor air quality, temperature and dew point and only operate within permissible standards.
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance, any parts weighing over 50lbs requires a team lift.
- Must have basic blueprint reading skills to interpret engineering drawings and specifications necessary to perform job.
- Must have basic math skills including addition / subtraction of fractions and decimal values for determining material, manufacturing, and inspection requirements.
- Must have ability to read measuring instruments not limited to but including tape measure, thickness gage, micrometres, and callipers.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination, grip strength and dexterity to handle products using hand and machine tools at established production standards.
