Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain responsive, high-performance applications using PHP (backend) and TypeScript (frontend).
Architect and optimize relational databases using Postgres, ensuring data integrity and performance.
Leverage AI development tools like Cursor and Claude to accelerate coding workflows, refactor legacy code, and maintain high standards of efficiency.
Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, pixel-perfect, and functional code.
Write maintainable, well-documented code and participate in peer code reviews to ensure high code quality.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and cross-stack technical debt.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in Agile development processes, including Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and story estimation.
Requirements
5+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications.
Deep expertise in PHP and modern TypeScript development.
Strong experience with Postgres (or similar relational databases like MySQL/Oracle) and writing efficient SQL queries.
Proficiency in AI-assisted coding, with a proven ability to use tools like Cursor or Claude to enhance productivity and code quality.
Strong experience building responsive and performant user interfaces using modern HTML and CSS.
Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and managing complex state.
Experience with version control tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
Experience working within Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Jira stories, sprint cycles).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a "get-it-done" mindset.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a distributed team.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with Laravel Cloud or similar modern PHP deployment and hosting environments.
Experience with microservice architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with reactive patterns or modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue).
