Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation and configuration of a Vertical Lift Module (VLM), including defining part organization logic and storage allocation for hundreds of SKUs
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to develop and document a Plan for Every Part (PFEP), establishing inventory parameters such as safety stock levels, min/max thresholds, and point-of-use strategies
- Contribute to the redesign of packaging standards to align with lean warehouse operations
- Analyze current-state warehouse layout and identify opportunities to improve space utilization and reduce part search time
- Work cross-functionally with purchasing, operations, and production teams to ensure alignment on inventory and supply chain goals
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and inventory management concepts is preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis and documentation
What you will gain
- Practical experience in warehouse design and automated storage systems
- Exposure to lean inventory management and supply chain strategy in a manufacturing environment
- Experience developing PFEP documentation and applying inventory optimization frameworks
- Cross-functional collaboration skills working alongside purchasing and production teams
- A tangible, project-based portfolio piece demonstrating measurable operational impact
