Pharmacy Intern - Lebanon, IN

Performs technical support of all Pharmacy services, which require licensure as a Pharmacy Intern in the State of Indiana. A Pharmacy Intern will need to be able to effectively function within all areas of Pharmacy operations including the development of competencies to interpret and enter Physician orders / prescriptions into computers, accurately utilize Pharmacy automation technology as well as some manual systems to provide optimum drug distribution, safely prepare sterile IV preparations, perform Pharmacy billing / crediting functions, manage drug inventory and distribution, be able to problem solve, communicate effectively and assist the Pharmacist where needed. A Pharmacy Intern will also be responsible for assisting the Pharmacist with monitoring and dosing of medications.
