Industrial Automation Services Specialist
Job Description
Agilix Solutions is seeking an Industrial Automation Services Specialist to join our team in Memphis, TN. As an authorized Rockwell Automation distributor, Agilix Solutions is a trusted partner for industrial customers across the region – and this role sits at the heart of that partnership.
This position carries two distinct and complementary areas of ownership:
- Services Portfolio Commercial Leader - Own the Services business strategy: understand the current revenue mix, identify growth opportunities across the Rockwell Automation services portfolio, and lead the commercial effort to capture them.
- Domain Expert & Customer Engagement – Serve as the subject-matter expert on the complete portfolio of Agilix’s Services offerings – guiding customers and account managers to the right solutions, defining the customer experience, and supporting the sales team through the entire engagement process.
This role will report to the Director of Services & Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Services business strategy across the assigned planning region, including revenue analysis, growth target setting, and go-to-market planning aligned with Rockwell Automation’s services portfolio.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the current business mix – service contract attach rates, renewal pipelines, and penetration by account – and translate that insight into actionable growth plans.
- Identify and pursue high-potential accounts for services expansion, including competitive target accounts and whitespace opportunities within the Rockwell Automation installed base.
- Build and manage a healthy opportunity funnel sufficient to meet or exceed revenue targets across all Services segments.
- Lead commercial programs, customer events, and promotional activities tied to Rockwell Automation Services launches and initiatives.
- Partner with account managers on account planning, business reviews, and territory strategy to ensure services are embedded in every customer relationship.
- Analyze market conditions and competitive landscape; document findings and present opportunities and risks to sales leadership on a regular cadence.
- Serve as the primary technical and commercial subject-matter expert for Rockwell Automation Services offerings, including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) agreements, on-site and remote support contracts, training services, asset management, and modernization programs.
- Guide customers – and internal account managers – to the right service offering for each engagement, based on the customer’s operational profile, asset health, and risk tolerance.
- Develop and deliver competency programs – for distributor sales teams, specialist peers, and self – to ensure the organization stays current with evolving Rockwell Automation service offerings.
- Articulate Rockwell Automation’s value proposition for Services in both commercial and technical terms, tailored to the audience (C-suite, plant managers, engineers, procurement).
