Job Summary:
The Operational Excellence role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, optimizing business processes, enhancing productivity and fostering a culture of operational discipline across the organization in Quality of Cluster II, Cluster III and EM. This role leverages Lean, Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies to increase efficiency, reduce costs and strengthen overall performance.

Process Improvement & Efficiency
Identify process gaps, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities with respect to Quality KPIs.
Analysing data and pulling out projects on areas like OOS/OOT/PQC.
Streamline investigation workflows and contribute to the development of an Investigation Quality (IQ) rubric and training modules.
Driving Quality circle.
Define and Harmonize KPI’s & DWMS (Daily work Management system) to Calibrate progress.
Driving Manpower optimization projects.
Identifying opportunities along with Sites Quality Leads to deliver YOY improvement.
Drive operational efficiency through Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Embedded 5S principle across the area & Gemba program to be established along with review mechanism.
Leveraging internal benchmarks and cross-industry insights to drive excellence.
Share and implement best practices across functions.
Working Capability improvement through using tools like RCA, ECRS, 5S , 6W2H, 5W1H, SPC and 7 qc tolls etc.
Standardize processes, SOPs and governance frameworks.
Implement automation or digital solutions to streamline operations.
Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to improve volume delivery with respect to Quality area.
Strategic Engagements, Performance Management & Leadership Support
Support the development of KPIs and track performance metrics.
Analyse data to provide insights, recommendations and action plans.
Align improvement initiatives with business goals, cost targets and customer expectations.
Partner with site leadership to identify and address gaps in Quality, Cost, Productivity, and Delivery.
Publish monthly OE MIS reports including OEE and performance.
Evaluate manpower standards and coordinate reduction plans with HODs, monitor and reduce overtime.
Lead Capex/Opex reviews with Quality (Quality Head, QA Head, QC Head etc.).
Support additional improvement initiatives as assigned by leadership.
Change Management & Deployment
Drive adoption of best practices, new processes and improvement initiatives across all sites of Cluster II, Cluster III and EM.
Facilitate workshops, trainings and change management sessions.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards and process quality guidelines.
Conduct assessments and process health checks.
Track project benefits, savings, and ROI.
Work Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle and feel and talk and hear.
- Ability to navigate office, lab, and/or plant floor working environments, stands, ambulates, and reaches.
- Must have the ability to wear applicable personal protective equipment utilized at the site, including but not limited to respirators, safety glasses/goggles, and safety shoes.
- He will be travelling 15-20 day a Month and should be ok to travel to all sites.
Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement frameworks.
Experience with process mapping tools.
Data analysis capability using Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
Preference for working with enterprise applications such as TrackWise, Minitab, EDMS, LMS and other quality and compliance systems.
