Marketing Manager, China (Robotics & Growth markets)
Job Description:
We are seeking a marketing professional with expertise in the China market to develop growth strategies and drive marketing initiatives that expand our business with primary focus on robotics, and oversight of high-growth markets (auto/xEV, gears, healthcare, etc.). This role will focus on building a multi-year growth pipeline within these highly strategic segments that Delrin is committed to advancing.
The position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies, including market segmentation, identification of target applications and components, and creation of go-to-market plans. This individual will also drive initiatives to expand the sales and development pipeline across China, working closely with the sales and distribution teams.
The role will manage programs across regions and applications, partnering closely with sales and application development teams to ensure alignment and successful execution. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional with strong analytical capabilities, knowledge of highly engineered thermoplastics, and experience in product marketing within robotics and growth markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Segmentation & Analysis: Define target markets and segments where our solutions deliver value. Conduct market research to understand applications, customer needs, competitive landscape, and performance requirements.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and prioritize opportunities, create compelling value propositions, and collaborate with sales and technical teams to execute account-focused plans.
Growth Initiatives: Apply marketing tools and frameworks to support commercial growth, track progress, and replicate successful strategies across regions.
Sales Enablement: Partner with regional and global sales teams to implement customer engagement plans throughout design and specification cycles.
Product & Technology Roadmap: Work with R&D and product management to shape offerings that meet market needs and accelerate new product introductions.
Market Intelligence: Maintain and share insights from industry data and proprietary research to inform decision-making.
Brand Activation: Enhance brand visibility through targeted campaigns, thought leadership, and participation in key industry events.
Ideal Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Marketing, or Business; equivalent experience considered.
Significant marketing experience in China/APAC, specifically in the engineered plastics, specialty chemicals and polymers, in high value differentiated product categories (not commodities)
Understanding of end market dynamics within a subset of robotics and auto/xEV end markets for highly engineered materials, knowledge of value chains and specification/decision-making processes;
Strong collaboration, team building, and communication skills to align diverse stakeholders.
Skilled in leveraging data and insights to identify growth opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
