Job Summary
|
The role of Activities Attendant is responsible for interacting amongst members and guest of the beach club while inciting a sense of community through club activities. The Activities Attendant is expected to oversee and execute daily events and activities that are inclusive of all ages throughout the property.

Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions
|
- Plan, organize, and facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation
- Implement actives that accommodate those with special needs
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to participants for all activities
- Observe participants during events, gauge their enjoyment, and gather feedback to improve future events
- Report medical concerns or observations as necessary
- Adhere to and enforce all safety procedures during activities
- Plan and execute special holiday or themed events
- Participate in cross-functional team activities to enhance and improve activity programs
- Monitor and manage activity program equipment, materials, and supplies
- Perform all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
|
- Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job related needs
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English
- Hands-on customer service experience preferred
- Previous experience in a related position preferred

- Basic knowledge of crafting and recreational activity operations
- Basic Knowledge of engaging activities suitable for various age groups and abilities

Physical Demands
|
- Work in both indoor and outdoor
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Prolonged periods of standing, physical activity, including but not limited to, bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Frequent precision work with hands

- Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind
- Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
- May involve interactions with children, adults, and participants with special needs
