Maintenance Mechanic - Blytheville 1

POSITION INFO:

The maintenance mechanic works to production running by maintaining and repairing machinery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work from written and verbal instructions and machine schematics.
• Welding, simple electrical, carpentry, masonry, minor plumbing, general building maintenance.
• Maintenance of forklifts, occasional forklift operation.
• Installation or relocation of machinery and equipment.
• Repair and maintain mechanical functions of machines.
• Intermittent heavy lifting.
• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Must be capable of performing all mechanical maintenance.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Other duties as assigned

Education - High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Mechanic experience in a heavy industrial environment preferred.
