The role requires a highly experienced, relationship-oriented sales professional with a proven record of raising capital, managing complex territories, and working in close partnership with the Product Specialists and the Consultant Relations team to convert engagement into durable fundraising outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Territory & Relationship Management

  • Oversee and actively manage a defined Southern U.S. institutional territory, including development and execution of a comprehensive coverage and engagement strategy.
  • Build, deepen, and maintain senior-level relationships with institutional investors across the region.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager responsible for institutional engagement, strategic dialogue, and long-term partnership development.
  • Fundraising & Investor Engagement
  • Drive fundraising efforts across Antares’ private credit strategies and related investment vehicles.
  • Originate, advance, and close new fundraising opportunities while supporting follow-on investments and account expansion.
  • Represent Antares in investor meetings, conferences, and industry events within the territory.

Collaboration with Product Specialists & Consultant Relations

  • Work closely with Product Specialists to deliver cohesive, high-quality investor engagement, including product positioning, diligence, and solution structuring.
  • Collaborate with Consultant Relations to ensure consistent messaging, coordinated coverage, and effective engagement with consultant-influenced investors.
  • Leverage subject-matter expertise across the platform while maintaining accountability for overall institutional relationship ownership.

CRM, Pipeline & Discipline

  • Maintain rigorous use of the firm’s CRM platform to document meetings, interactions, opportunities, pipeline progression, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure transparency and accuracy in pipeline reporting, forecasting, and activity tracking.
  • Actively manage coverage prioritization, account segmentation, and opportunity progression using data-driven insights.

Strategic Contribution

  • Support broader institutional business development initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of institutional sales and fundraising experience, preferably within private credit, structured credit and other alternative credit strategies.
  • Demonstrated success raising capital from institutional investors across a defined geographic territory.
  • Experience working in a coordinated model alongside consultant relations and product specialist teams.
  • Proven ability to manage a complex territory with autonomy while operating effectively within a team-based sales and coverage model.
  • Strong experience leveraging CRM systems to manage pipelines, track activity, and drive accountability.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, and integrity; strong alignment with a long-term, partnership-oriented sales philosophy.

Competencies

  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
