Role Overview

Lead the Business Analytics function to deliver actionable insights that drive business performance. The role oversees performance analytics, agency and sales deep-dives, and segment-level insight generation, while ensuring robust dashboard and reporting capabilities. It supports campaign analytics by applying advanced analytical techniques to enhance client targeting and data-driven decision-making, and partners with relevant teams on data transformation initiatives, including data enhancement efforts to strengthen analytics foundations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business performance analytics and insight generation to support senior management decision-making.
  • Drive deep-dive analyses across customer segments, channels, products, and initiatives to identify key drivers, opportunities, and risks.
  • Oversee dashboard and reporting capabilities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business needs, while leading and developing the analytics team to enhance capabilities and drive insight-led delivery.
  • Analyze customer behavior, sales trends, and channel performance to identify growth and productivity opportunities.
  • Apply analytical techniques (e.g., segmentation, propensity models) to support business insights and actions.
  • Lead campaign analytics, covering targeting approach, application of advanced analytics, campaign sizing, and effectiveness monitoring.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into business processes and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • ~15 years’ experience in analytics, BI, or strategy, with strong focus on business performance and insight generation.
  • Proven experience in leading analytics or reporting teams.
  • Strong track record in deep-dive analysis and influencing business decisions.
  • Experience in business performance analytics, sales analysis, and dashboard management.
  • Exposure to campaign analytics or client targeting is preferred.
  • Solid analytical skills (statistics, data modeling; advanced analytics exposure a plus).
  • Experience working with business, marketing, and distribution stakeholders.
  • Insurance / financial services experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL; familiarity with visualization tools is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English, ability to speak Chinese will be advantageous .
