Health Solutions Behavioral Healthcare Internship Program
Health Solutions is a premier wellness center focused on whole person care. Health Solutions is accepting applications for a paid employee internship during the current term. This opportunity is designed for social work students seeking supervised, Clinical field placement experience within a leading behavioral healthcare organization.
This placement provides foundational practice experience aligned with Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) competencies and prepares students for entry-level professional roles or continued advanced clinical education.
Who Should Apply
This internship is intended for students enrolled in CSWE-accredited social work programs, including:
- BSW students completing their final-year practicum
- MSW Foundation students completing their first-year (Generalist) practicum
Placement Focus (Generalist Practice)
Interns in this track will primarily focus on core social work competencies, including:
- Conducting initial bio-psycho-social assessments and screenings.
- Providing client-centered case management and service coordination.
- Client advocacy, resource linkage, and systems navigation within the community.
- Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical reviews.
Benefits (Paid Employee Status)
- This is a paid employee position. You will receive an hourly wage for your supervised practice hours.
- You will receive supervision from experienced, licensed behavioral health professionals, which will include those with BSW and/or MSW degrees and licensure including LCSW as necessary.
- You will participate in relevant agency training and professional development activities.
- You will gain foundational clinical experience in a community behavioral health setting.

What we’re looking For—The Must-Haves
- You must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree program (Senior Year) OR the Foundation (Generalist) Year of an MSW program
- You must be starting your practicum/internship portion of your program.
- You must be able to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week for at least one semester (typically two consecutive semesters) to accrue the necessary field hours (minimum 400 total hours)
- Your school must have an approved Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Health Solutions or be willing to complete one
- You must have a copy of your school's internship handbook and a clear understanding of the expectations for your program
