Your Opportunity
BDO Canada is seeking an Administrative Professional to join our US Corporate Tax Services team in the GTA. This is a replacement role that is hybrid while being based out of our Oakville office and offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team supporting complex and high-impact client engagements.
In this role, you will work closely with Partners and team members across the practice, contributing to the successful delivery of tax engagements. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who takes initiative, enjoys problem-solving, and values working as part of a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support client onboarding processes, including initiating conflict of interest checks
Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems
Assist with preparing and coordinating engagement letters, ensuring timely follow-up
Support billing processes including invoice preparation and processing
Assist with WIP monitoring and reporting
Maintain accurate billing documentation in accordance with firm standards
Assemble U.S. corporate tax returns and extensions in accordance with internal procedures
Prepare client-ready deliverables and format correspondence, proposals, and reports to professional standards
Provide day-to-day administrative support to Partners and the US Corporate Tax team locally and nationally
Coordinate meetings, deadlines, and workflow tracking
Contribute to process improvements and team efficiency

Your Experience and Education
1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, or equivalent educational background, with a preference for candidates holding relevant diplomas or certificates.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with added value for familiarity with AI Tools, and Workday.
Strong ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
Comfortable working in a deadline-driven work setting and dealing with confidential information
Naturally curious, adaptable, and compassionate, with a willingness to take initiative and support others
You have strong problem solving and communication skills both written and oral.
You value teamwork, client service and quality in detailed work
Fluency in English is required; French is considered an asset
Ability to work extra hours as required
The expected range of compensation for this role is: $39,000 to $64,000
