Position Overview
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Recruiting Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys building relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
This position is responsible for full-cycle recruiting for a wide range of positions, including manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, professional, supervisory, and management-level roles. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment where hiring needs can change quickly.
This is a hands-on, onsite role that works closely with department leaders and the HR team to support Cedar's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage recruiting efforts for hourly, salaried, supervisory, and management positions
- Create and manage job postings on Indeed and other recruiting platforms
- Source, screen, and interview candidates
- Coordinate interviews and hiring activities with managers
- Extend employment offers and guide candidates through the pre-employment process
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and position requirements
- Provide updates on candidate pipelines and recruiting activity
- Assist managers with candidate selection and hiring decisions
- Support workforce planning and recruiting strategies
Community & Workforce Recruiting
- Build relationships with local workforce organizations, schools, and community partners
- Attend job fairs, hiring events, and networking opportunities
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates
Recruiting Administration
- Maintain applicant tracking records and recruiting documentation
- Track recruiting metrics and hiring activity
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Support onboarding and orientation activities as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Bilingual English/Spanish (spoken and written)
- 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
- Experience managing multiple open positions simultaneously
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work onsite in Ward Hill, MA
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred
- Manufacturing, warehouse, food production, or distribution recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting both hourly and salaried employees
- Experience using Indeed and other sourcing platforms
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar applicant tracking systems
