Position Summary
The DSD Driver is responsible for safely operating a company vehicle, completing assigned delivery routes, maintaining accurate route documentation, and providing exceptional customer service at each delivery location. Candidates must be reliable, professional, and able to work effectively both independently and within a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to complete assigned delivery routes
- Deliver outstanding customer service at each client location
- Maintain accurate route records and make sound decisions while on route
- Represent the company professionally at all times
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong communication, customer service, and decision-making skills
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Knowledge of state and local traffic laws
- Strong commitment to safety and service
- Good vision and hearing
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and strong personal hygiene
Schedule
- Start time: between 3:30 AM and 5:00 AM
- End time: upon completion of daily route, typically between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM
