Responsibilities:
Program Overview
The Engineering Trainee Program is a structured 12-month development program designed to equip fresh graduates with strong technical and leadership capabilities. The program begins with 1 month of classroom training in Dumai, followed by 11 months of on-the-job training across assigned operational sites (Dumai, Balikpapan, Padang, and Marunda), including involvement in a Continuous Improvement Project.
Upon successful completion, participants will be placed as permanent staff and are required to serve a two-year bonding period at their assigned location.
Job Responsibilities
Participate in structured classroom and on-site training programs to develop core engineering competencies
·Support daily operational activities and ensure alignment with company standards in safety, quality, and productivity
Engage in cross-functional projects to gain exposure to end-to-end business processes
Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives
Analyze operational data and provide insights for efficiency and performance enhancement
Collaborate with supervisors and mentors to achieve individual development goals
Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and learning outcomes
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.00 or a Master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.25 (fresh graduates or have a maximum of 2 years of work experience).
Majors: Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Passionate about the palm oil industry and eager to learn
Open to relocation for career advancement
