ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Workday Analyst serves as the subject matter expert for Workday functionality and is responsible for consulting with Human Resources, Talent Management, and Payroll to configure, maintain, and optimize Tepa’s HRIS, Workday. This role supports HR, Finance, Talent Management, and other business functions by ensuring system integrity, improving processes, and delivering accurate reporting and analytics.
Job Functions:
Configures, maintains, and supports Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Finance, etc.)
Analyzes business requirements and consult with stakeholders to translate them into Workday system solutions
Manages system updates, releases, and enhancements
Troubleshoot issues and provide end-user support
Optimizes Workday business processes by identifying inefficiencies and consulting with stakeholders to propose and implement approved streamlined, effective solutions
Maintains data integrity and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Develops and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics and support ad hoc reporting requests
Collaborates with HR, Finance, Talent Management, and IT teams to improve processes and workflows
Supports integrations between Workday and other systems
Develops, updates, and maintains comprehensive documentation and user guides for business processes and system configurations.
Conducts testing (unit, regression, UAT) for system changes and updates
In conjunction with Tepa’s training department, train users and provide ongoing system education based on guidance from HR, Talent Management, and Payroll leadership
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Active Workday certifications in HCM Core, Business Process Framework, Security, Payroll (US), and Recruiting
5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday configuration, business processes, integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio), benefits, and reporting
5+ years of hands-on experience with Entra ID/Azure Active Directory configuration, management, and governance
Experience with reporting tools (Workday reporting, Excel, Powershell, etc.)
Understanding of HR, Payroll, and Talent Management operations
Expert knowledge of Workday configuration and administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
