Compensation: $30.00 / hour
Description
Alliance Group is seeking full-time, experienced Journeyman and/or Master Electricians in Essex Junction, VT to join our growing Controls team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely perform electrical installations including, but not limited to, mounting devices, running conduit, and pulling wire and terminations on a wide variety of systems
- Oversee multiple jobs at one time
- Assign technicians daily and weekly tasks to keep projects moving forward
- Work with project manager when issues arise to find the direction to complete the job at hand
- Recognize potential change orders and/or value-added opportunities as they arise
- Work with Project Manager to forecast man power needs on all projects when required
- Anticipate material needs to ensure projects stay on target
- Be able to work independently or with a team or apprentice.
- Assemble, install, and wire building automation equipment, fixtures, controllers, relays, current detectors, temperature sensors, actuators, etc. using a variety of industry recognized methods with the use of hand or power tools.
- Safely work with ladders, arial lifts, and a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Always wear and maintain all required safety equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Adapt to changing work conditions to complete given tasks
Essential Qualifications and Competencies
- 4+ years of experience in Electrical trade required.
- VT Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician License required.
- Must be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team player.
- Knowledge of Build-Ops platform desired but not required.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion and integrity.
- Must possess proactive, positive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and identify inefficiencies in work processes.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
- Must be able to climb up and down scaffolding, ladders, stairs as job requires.
- Must be willing and able to work in occasional in climate weather.
- Must maintain a company vehicle
- U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory
- Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.
- A pre-employment post-offer Human Performance Examination is required for this position.
