
Sales and Service Associate II (Teller II)
Job Description
Role:
To assist customers with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments. Display and reinforce excellent customer service to all customers and employees. Balance cash drawer and daily transactions. Cross-sell bank services.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Providing outstanding sales and service while receiving and processing customer withdrawals, financial transactions, including deposits, and loan payments; sell monetary instruments, transfer amounts from customer accounts as directed.
- Welcome customers and provide routine information concerning services and directs customers to appropriate department for specific information and service. Cross-sell all bank products and services, consistently reaching sales goals.
- Post transactions to customer accounts and maintain customer records, while working within all Federal Regulatory guidelines, Reg CC, BSA, and etc.
- Maintaining and balancing cash drawer and reconciling discrepancies. Following all bank financial and security regulations, policies, and procedures to prevent losses to the bank.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
1. To provide friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all customers and employees.
2. Cash differences should not exceed bank policy.
3. To meet sales goals with special emphasis on consumer lending. This will include all branch goals as outlined in the Retail Sales Manual.
4. To maintain the confidentiality of all information as directed in banking procedures.
5. Maintain appropriate attendance and punctuality.
6. To comply with all state and federal regulations that are applicable to their specific job duties.
7. To complete all assigned training within the allotted time frame.
8. Each position within the Company shares in the cross-selling of the Company's products and services.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or equivalent.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (Customers or vendors), requiring courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills: Computer skills needed. Must be detailed with numbers, names, products and services.

Physical Requirements: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Must able to lift up to 50 pounds.
