components. Components may include turbine runners, discharge rings, wicket gates,
wicket gate mechanism/bushings, headcover/bottom ring, stay vanes, distributor/stay
rings, guide bearings, brackets, shafts, generator stator/rotor, exciter stator/rotor,
collector rings and brush rigging.
Develop quality requirements for installation of components, including site inspection
and test plans and engineering data record sheets.
Support unit alignment and assembly of critical components.
Resolve installation issues related to projects.
Review contractual specifications, designs and technical documentation.
Interface with clients regarding installation matters.
Assist the Sales Department in the bid for installation issues.
Provide assistance to Project Management in installation tasks related to the
refurbishment of hydro-turbines and related equipment.
Travel may be required for critical installation work or to resolve installation issues.
