Job Description
Working in our Underwriting teams, you will analyse and underwrite new and renewal business, interact with Brokers to support their customers and work as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

During your apprenticeship you’ll:

Learn how to manage business relationships, determining and evaluating their insurance requirements and identifying opportunities to enhance their insurance programmes with us

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the insurance market and the various products and services

Understand the importance of being proactive in developing relationships and networks required to be successful while achieving business objectives and making sure the customers' needs are met

Discover more about the impact of change within the insurance market and how it affects your role and the wider organisation.

Build relationships with key stakeholders to support our customers and brokers needs

Work with and learn from an experienced team who will support you through your journey
Alongside your day-to-day work activities, you‘ll complete an Insurance Practitioner Level 3 Apprenticeship as well as an insurance industry recognised Certificate in Insurance via the Chartered Insurance Institute. The apprenticeship will take around 18 months.
Your qualification is just the start of your career at Zurich. Once your apprenticeship is complete you will have plenty of opportunities to put your new skills into practice while continuing to develop and grow.
