Job Description

About Chelsea Piers:

At Chelsea Piers you will find colleagues who are passionate about what we do. Careers at Chelsea Piers offer unmatched facilities, excellent benefits, and proven career growth opportunities for people who are passionate about transforming the lives of our community through sports, fitness, and event experiences.

About the Opportunity:

Chelsea Piers is seeking a highly capable Executive Associate to work directly with and in support of the CEO. This is a multi-faceted role - part executive assistant, part analyst, part operational integrator, not a conventional administrative position. The right person will be intellectually curious, independently minded, and a resourceful self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be told what to do next.

The CEO oversees a complex, multi-layered business spanning real estate, fitness, sports, events, and hospitality. He moves quickly, thinks analytically, and holds work to a high standard. The Executive Associate will need to earn trust through the quality of their output and the soundness of their judgment. For the right candidate, this is a rare opportunity to work closely with and learn from a seasoned CEO leading a dynamic, growing business with significant breadth and complexity.

As the Executive Associate to the CEO, you will be expected to:

Executive Support

• Manage the CEO's calendar, ensuring meetings are scheduled, confirmed, and prepared for

• Track open items, follow-ups, and deadlines; proactively flag what needs attention

• Draft and manage correspondence on behalf of the CEO with clarity and discretion

• Build and maintain systems that keep projects, documents, and priorities organized

• Help the CEO leverage technology more effectively, including AI tools, to work more efficiently

Information and Accountability

• Gather, synthesize, and summarize information from across the business so the CEO has what he needs to make decisions and assess performance

• Prepare concise briefings, status updates, and meeting materials

• Help ensure commitments made to the CEO are tracked and followed through on

• Identify gaps in information flow and build processes to close them

Analysis and Business Support

• Conduct research and analysis in support of new business development and current operations

• Prepare feasibility reports, business summaries, and presentations

• Assist with real estate analysis and other strategic initiatives as directed

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus

  • 4+ years of professional experience, ideally in a fast-paced business, consulting, or operational environment

  •  Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail - you follow through without being reminded

  • A confident writer who can translate complex situations into clear, concise documents

  • Fluent with technology: you pick up new tools quickly and can help others use them better

  • Comfortable with AI tools and capable of integrating them into day-to-day workflows

  • Discreet and professional in handling sensitive information

  • Self-directed and low-maintenance - you don't need a lot of hand-holding or external validation

  • Analytically sharp; you can spot what matters in a dataset, a document, or a conversation

  • Thrives on direct, candid feedback

  • Candidates who are interested in applying should email a cover letter and their resume to [email protected].
